Dispatches from the Front
Hi guys,
Just two big problems for how Warner did their day-in-date decision.
First, this really upsets the “talent”. Warner was consider the place to go that was the best for creative/artistic freedom. Now not so much.
Second, Legend and others do have a leg to stand on in the area of profit share. If they do lose, they may not enter into equity share agreements. For example Legend put up three quarters of the finance for some moves produced by Warner, with the expectations of different things.
Great pod guys.

It's funny that broken clock also mentioned people upgrading their TVs this week.
I have always watched a LOT of TV. YouTube, OTA broadcasts, and various other things... More recently, CBS All-Access (until Discovery ends), Disney+ (discounted if I paid for a year in advance), and Apple TV ("free" with the iMac I bought -- yeah, NOT free! LOL). I have had the same old 720p plasma TV since I moved into this house 10+ yrs ago. Until a few weeks ago. "There's all this 4k content... With (what seems like) all this extra TV I've been watching, it's time to upgrade!" LG 65" 4K w/ WebOS. Every week, I've been checking to see when HBOMax will show up on it. No luck yet. :(
At least I still have the Roku hooked up! LOL
See ya!

I just wanted to say I'm a long time listener/watcher of cordkillers. I'm absolutely excited for Discovery plus and will be signing up day one for it. Having almost all the networks and shows my family loves to watch in one place is worth getting. Plus I'm excited to watch the new Magnolia network. The 6.99 price for ad-free is an absolute no brainier for myself and my family.
